SPELLING BEES

3 & 4 year-old programs

Our “Spelling Bees Program” is for children age 3 years old to 4 years old.  We do accept children from age 2 years and 8 months old into our 3 yr old program.  We have two 3 yr old classrooms and two 4 yr old classrooms.  The Spelling Bees Program emphasizes learning in academic content areas such as literacy, math, science, social studies, art, music and physical education for future school success.  Spelling Bees must exhibit independent feeding and should be toilet trained.  However, students who aren't fully toilet trained may be accepted.

If your child needs speech-language therapy, we are a unique preschool that also offers daily individual or small group speech-language therapy services with a certified licensed Speech-Language Pathologist as part of our language enriched learning curriculum.  Since we have an inclusion program, your child would be in our Spelling Bees Program and our speech pathologist would take him/her out of class for the 30-minute speech therapy session in our therapy room and then your child would go back to join the class after the session.

Jr Kindergarten

5 year old program

Our Jr Kindergarten Program is for children age 5 yrs old (or late born 4 yr olds who cannot attend Kindergarten).  We have one Jr Kindergarten class.  We utilize a Kindergarten curriculum from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt where students learn math, language arts, writing, science, social studies, art, music and physical education.  This curriculum provides an introduction to Kindergarten level work and provides a strong foundation as students prepare for elementary school.

Schedule

Half-day or Full-day programs available Monday through Friday. Half day (school day) is from 8 am - 2 pm and we allow till 2:45 pm for pick up.  Full day is 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Hours 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, year round.
